With some new versions of ForNAV, it is either required or recommended that you reconvert your reports. This is a very simple process that only takes a few minutes.
You export all ForNAV reports from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2016 (or 2013/2015) in a txt-file. To help you select the ForNAV reports, you can apply a filter on the “Version List”. Run the exported txt-file through the new version of the Reports ForNAV Converter, import the converted txt-file to your Dynamics NAV 2016 (or 2013/2015), and compile the reports. You do not have to reconvert from the C/SIDE (or “classic”) reports.
Please also make sure that you have the newest ForNAV DLL in the add-ins folder on the service tiers you are running on. If you have manually (not using the ForNAV installer) copied the ForNAV DLL to your service tiers, you have to restart the service tier services.
You must recompile all ForNAV reports when you install a new version of ForNAV (a new ForNAV DLL). To do this, you simply apply a filter in the “Version List” and compile all report objects with ForNAV.
